Si-Fu Linas Gudonavičius

Si-Fu Linas Gudonavičius (7th Master Level – Practitioner Level) was born on 16 May 1980 in Lithuania. He began training in martial arts at the age of seven. At the age of 17, in 1997, he developed a strong interest in Leung Ting Wing Tsun KungFu.

In 1999, he attended a Wing Tsun Kung Fu seminar in Warsaw led by Si-Kung Norbert Máday, marking the beginning of his professional training in the Leung Ting Wing Tsun KungFu system.

In 2000, he founded the first Leung Ting Wing Tsun Kung Fu school in Kaunas, Lithuania.

In 2001, he became a private student of Si-Kung Norbert Máday.

On 27 March 2001, together with members of the Lithuanian Wing Tsun community, he organized the first seminar in Kaunas, Lithuania, led by Si-Kung Norbert Máday.

Since then, Si-Fu Linas Gudonavičius has organized three international seminars each year, regularly inviting Si-Kung Norbert Máday to conduct Wing Tsun seminars and summer camps in Lithuania and across the Baltic States.

In 2003, the first seminar with Grand Grandmaster (GGM) Leung Ting was held in Vilnius, Lithuania. Since then, Si-Fu Linas Gudonavičius has organized numerous seminars with Si-Jo Leung Ting in Lithuania.

Also in 2003, he founded the Baltic Wing Tsun Association (BWTA), a member of the Eastern European Wing Tsun Organization (EEWTO). BWTA unites the Wing Tsun community in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Since 2003, Si-Fu Linas Gudonavičius has also organized specialized seminars for law enforcement and security institutions, including the Lithuanian Police, Estonian Special Forces, the Estonian Special Police, and the Latvian National Armed Forces.

Together with Si-Kung Norbert Máday and Si-Fu Gábor Szél, he has conducted professional self-defense and tactical training for officers from the Klaipėda City Police, Alytus City and District Police, Vilnius City Police, the Lithuanian Police Anti-Terrorist Unit, and other law enforcement agencies.

In 2008, following an official tea ceremony, he became the Kung Fu Son (To-Dai) of Si-Kung Norbert Máday.

For more than two decades, Si-Fu Linas Gudonavičius has been responsible for promoting the Leung Ting Wing Tsun Kung Fu system and educating students and instructors throughout the Baltic States. Under his leadership, the first Wing Tsun Kung Fu school was also established in Ukraine.
